gulfHR Mobile App v2.6.5 Now Live — A Smoother, Smarter Mobile Experience
We’re pleased to announce that gulfHR mobile app v2.6.5 is now live for all Android and iOS users, released on 25 April 2026.
This release focuses on improving usability, modernising key screens, and expanding functionality across core HR workflows — making everyday tasks faster and more intuitive for both employees and managers.
What’s New in v2.6.5
This update introduces five key improvements across the mobile experience:
- Redesigned Inbox Experience
The Inbox has been refreshed with a cleaner layout and improved Approve / Reject buttons, making approvals quicker and easier to manage on the go. - Modern Cards UI Across List Pages
We’ve replaced older grid layouts with a modern card-based interface, improving readability and creating a more consistent mobile experience. - Payslip Confidentiality Controls
Employees now have the ability to toggle visibility of confidential payslip information directly from the dashboard, giving greater control over sensitive payroll data. - Inbox Badge Counter & Pull-to-Refresh
Real-time badge counters now keep users updated on pending actions, while pull-to-refresh ensures the latest data is always available instantly. - General Improvements
We’ve also delivered multiple form label refinements and smaller UX improvements to enhance overall usability.
These enhancements further strengthen gulfHR’s mobile workforce management capabilities across the UAE and GCC region.
Project Timesheet Module
As part of this release, we’ve also launched the Project Timesheet module for one of our customers.
This new capability allows employees to log, review, and submit weekly project hours directly from the mobile app — improving visibility, accuracy, and approval efficiency for project-based work.
Key capabilities include:
- Weekly project and task-based time entry
- Separate regular and overtime tracking
- Monthly view with filtering options
- Manager approval workflow with status tracking
Integrated workforce time and compliance management functionality helps organisations maintain accurate payroll inputs and operational control.
More enhancements are already in development as we continue expanding the mobile experience.

We’re actively exploring several enhancements for future releases, including:
- Forced app updates for mandatory version control
- Push notifications for real-time HR alerts
- QR-based digital contact cards
- “My Team News” feed for birthdays, leave, and anniversaries
